Operations Management International Seminar at the Academy
Today, at the LEPL David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia, with the support of NATO Military Education and Development Program, an international seminar on "Operations Management" was opened within which representatives of Britain, Israel, Germany and Lithuania are invited to deliver trainings.
Within the framework of the seminar trainers talked about operations management during operations and fight. Professor Sven Bernard Garris talked about the "Operations Management" as a philosophy of military leadership. Colonel Sönke Marahrens introduced the concept and practice of the German Auftragstaktik.
The risks and challenges of implementing the operations management at the strategic level was also discussed.
The seminar will last for three days and will be attended by the heads of structural units of the Georgian Defence Forces and their representatives as well.
