The National Defence Academy is one of the leading military institutions in the Transcaucasus, dedicated to training competitive officers equipped with modern methods, theoretical knowledge, and practical skills. The primary focus of the Academy is to develop a successful and highly moral officer corps.
Currently, the Academy offers both undergraduate and graduate programs in academic higher education, as well as a Georgian language training program.
Bachelor's Degree Programs include: Management, Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Law, and Defense and Security
The Master's degree program represents the second level of higher military education and aims to enhance the competencies and skills of officers in the Georgian Defence Forces and various other agencies. The available Master's degree programs are: Defense Analysis, State Resources Management, Security Studies
The National Defence Academy also provides military personnel and civilians in the Georgian Defense Forces with opportunities to complete either the Officer Candidate Course or the Reserve Officer Training Course, thereby obtaining initial military education as officers. Additionally, the Academy's Georgian language training program enables non-Georgian-speaking students to achieve B1+ level proficiency in writing, reading, listening, and speaking, which is mandatory for continuing their studies in the Bachelor's degree programs.
Situated on a modern, well-equipped campus, the Academy facilitates learning, development, physical fitness, and recreation. It offers a variety of sports sections and creative clubs, providing Junkers and students with opportunities to engage in both local and international activities.
The Academy's state-of-the-art infrastructure supports high-quality education. It features a library with computer resources and an extensive collection of military, academic, and recreational literature—totaling over 54,000 books in Georgian, English, German, and French—as well as a conference hall and an examination center. The well-equipped sports complex, gym, and recreation center offer Junkers a pleasant way to spend their free time.
