The National Defence Academy Held the Events In Memory of the Junkers Who Died In Febtuary 1921

The first half of the day was dedicated to competitions in various sports, where the students of the officer candidate training course took part together with the fourth-year Junkers. The sporting event included the run of 1921 meters involving 21 participants, as well as competitions in arm-wrestling, swimming, volleyball, and tug of war.

The event continued at the Heroes' Memorial on the territory of the Academy, which was adorned with wreaths by the First Deputy Rector of the National Defence Academy, Colonel Levan Kavtaradze.

At the event, the Junkers and personnel of the Academy were addressed by the First Deputy Rector of the Academy, Colonel Levan Kavtaradze, the Commander of the Training Battalion, Colonel Giorgi Arabuli, and the fourth-year Junker, Vano Dvalishvili.

The chaplain of the National Defence Academy, Father Tadeoz, paid his last respects to the souls of the fallen Junkers.
