Awards Ceremony for the Parents of the Outstanding Junkers

The LEPL David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia recently held an awarding ceremony for the parents of outstanding Junkers who excelled in the spring semester of the bachelor's program. The Rector of the Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, greeted the parents who were invited to the event. In his welcoming address, the Rector emphasized the importance of family support in the Junkers' studies and daily military activities. He noted that parental encouragement and proper approaches can provide extra motivation to Junkers in their challenging learning process. The Academy decided to reward the parents for raising their children with love for their homeland.

 It's worth mentioning that Junkers in their first three years of the academy receive a monthly scholarship of 200 GEL. Additionally, outstanding Junkers who excel in their studies receive an extra scholarship allowance based on their ranking.

Additional scholarship award criteria are:

Rating score A+ 95 – 100 excellent - 300 GEL

Rating score A 91 - 94 - 200 GEL

Rating score B 81 - 90 - 100 GEL

The scholarship/gross pay for IV year Junkers is 1530 GEL (1200 GEL net pay).

At the end of each academic semester, parents of the excellent Junkers (category A+) are awarded, and a letter of gratitude is sent to their home addresses from the Rector.
