In David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia, a military engineering obstacle course was additionally organized, allowing the academy trainees and Junkers to improve their field-military training skills even more. The Rector of the Academy Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze together with the leadership of the Academy attended the military training activity carried out by trainees and Junkers.
The Engineer Obstacle Course is a scaled-down model of defensive obstacles, including anti-tank and anti-personnel explosive and non-explosive obstacles. Its purpose is that trainees and Junkers learn practically: the arrangement of minefields and drawing up a form (documentation), the arrangement of wire obstacles, bringing directional mines into action, and the arrangement of fortification structures.
The practical activities mentioned above will help them learn and master both countermobility and life-sustaining operations.
