the trilateral meetings of rectors from military

From September 3-6, this year, the trilateral meetings of rectors from military educational institutions in Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey were held in Istanbul, hosted by the National Defense University of Turkey. The delegation of the National Defence Academy was headed by Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, the Rector of the Academy. The delegation also included Deputy Rector Colonel Zurab Zerekidze and the Head of G-5 Service of the Staff, Vice Colonel Kakhaber Kavlashvili.

During the meetings, the military educational institution of each country delivered presentations detailing the school's academic and military programs, international activities, and the structure of trilateral sports competitions. The discussions also covered current and future cooperation between military schools, as well as various issues and directions for collaboration.

The format of the rectors' tripartite meetings included visits and meetings to the Turkish National Defense University's Land, Sea and Air Colleges, Naval and Air Force Academies and Foreign Language School.

These meetings establish partnership ties with two neighboring countries of Georgia in the field of military education. Holding workshops in a similar cooperation format is crucial for the Academy in terms of sharing experiences. Additionally, there are plans for future tripartite format meetings for the Junkers, which will include sports competitions and cultural awareness events.
