A New Year s event was held at the National Defence Academy
A New Year's event was held at the National Defence Academy. The first half was dedicated to a sports and entertainment event known as "School Sports Day," where the children of Academy personnel participated in various activities.
The second half of the event showcased a New Year's concert, which commenced with a welcoming speech by the Rector of the National Defence Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze. In his address, he expressed gratitude to both military and civilian personnel for their dedicated service throughout the year and extended his warm wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
The Rector also recognized three military personnel who were promoted to a higher rank and presented certificates to the Junkers and trainees who excelled in various events. Additionally, the Junkers of the Training Battalion, along with students from the Candidate Course, delivered a performance that featured musical acts and traditional Georgian dances.
