International Week Closing Ceremony at the National Defence Academy

Today was the conclusion of the third International Week at the National Defence Academy. At the closing ceremony the Commander of the Training and Military Education of General Staff, COL Malkhaz Makarazde and the Rector of NDA, LTC Zaza Japaridze addressed the participants and awarded them certificates.

In the framework of the International Week, representatives from 12 higher military institutions visited the National Defence Academy.

The Chief of Georgian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Vladimer Chachibaia delivered the lecture to the participants on Georgian Armed Forces and its contribution to International Missions, the Head of the Euro-Atlantic Integration Coordination Department Office of the State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Nata Koridze discussed Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration perspectives and expectation with the guests.

At Krtsanisi Training Centre International Week participants took part in shooting competition. The winners were awarded special certificates. The guests also visited the State Military Scientific-Technical Centre “Delta”, where they viewed the Georgian light weapons and heavy military equipment and familiarised themselves with their tactical and technical aspects.

Apart from the academic and military activities, as a part of the Week the participants were also actively involved in various cultural and educational events.
