Scientific conference at the National Defense Academy
Two day conference ‘‘Georgia’s national security in local and global context’’ has come to an end at The National Defense Academy.
Numerous Faculty and Staff from the Academy were involved in the conference along with the Faculty from other Georgian Universities. Representatives of various NGO’s were also attending the conference.
Welcoming speech was made by Head of Educational Division, Lieutenant-Colonel Zurab Mchedlishvili.
During the Conference several topics were addressed and discussed. Defense and security theories in the Euro-Atlantic realm, Georgia’s Pension risks and challenges, Georgia’s role in the global world, Georgia’s economical security, demographical challenges and internal security issues.
Attending members of the conference had chance to exchange ideas and information, discuss challenges regarding Georgia. Similar conferences also have a role of cooperation between various higher educational institutions on the scientific basis.
