Internal mobility is implemented at the National Defence Academy for both bachelor's and master's educational programs. However, due to the specific nature of undergraduate studies, only external mobility is available in the fall semester.
The Junkers who transfer through external mobility will begin their studies from the first year.
The Junkers enrolled in the bachelor's and master's programs at the National Defence Academy from the 2022 academic year will be subject to the following regulations regarding the suspension of status and mobility:
A cadet has the right to request a suspension of status and mobility when:
- They are sent to a foreign country by the Ministry of Defence of Georgia upon enrollment in a military higher educational institution.
- They are studying at the second level of academic higher education, and suspension of the Junker’s status is necessary as initiated by the administrative body where the Junker is employed during their studies.
The right to suspend the status of the Junker is granted in situations such as:
- Pregnancy or childbirth and childcare responsibilities.
- If the Junker holds military serviceman status, they can request a suspension due to health deterioration if deemed incompatible with military service.
- The right to mobility may be exercised during any semester during the study period of the first or second level of academic higher education, in case of deterioration of health condition based on the determination of incompatibility with military service, and also if a person studying in a second level of academic higher education program at a military higher education institution is released from the administrative body, his/her Junker status will be terminated after the next mobility announcement.
