The goal of the Bachelor’s Educational Program is to prepare a Bachelor of Law, who will:

  • gain broad knowledge of the essence of law, system, basic principles, main features of the national legal system, legal systems, historical sources of Georgian law, ethical principles of the activity of a lawyer (judge, lawyer, prosecutor, notary), moral aspects of legal professions, as well as public, private, Regarding the main theories, principles and peculiarities of the criminal and international law fields, including the causes of legal disputes, their main characteristics and ways of solving them by legal means;
  • develop the ability to recognize complex and unforeseen problems in the field of public, private, criminal and international law, to develop appropriate ways of solving them using the latest legal methods, as well as to justify one's own positions/conclusions in oral and written form, using legal terminology and taking into account the norms of ethics skill
  • develop the ability to develop legal documents, including civil and administrative agreements, procedural and legal acts, as well as research and practical projects in the field of public, private, criminal and international law in accordance with predetermined guidelines;
  • develop the ability to determine, evaluate and solve the factual circumstances of a specific case (case), as well as to select, analyze and use norms, sources, methods of public, private, criminal and international law;
  • develop the ability to assess the factual circumstances of the case in the field of public, private, criminal and international law, to implement specific legal actions, to solve other legal tasks, to develop ways of solving a legal dispute (case);
  • to develop the ability to act within the framework of the ethical and professional behavior norms of a lawyer, as well as to act in accordance with the basic principles of individual and team work and legal values in the relevant litigation process;
  • To develop the ability to search for, highlight, and constantly update one's own knowledge of the necessary information in Georgian and/or English, including sources of national and international law, legislative changes, judicial practice, scientific news.
