The main functions of the Service are as follows:
a) To establish, promote, and coordinate cooperative relationships and partnerships with international organizations and diplomatic missions accredited in Georgia, including Attachés.
b) To determine, initiate, and coordinate key directions for internships and the placement of Academy Junkers/students and personnel abroad under established agreements.
c) To promote the engagement of Academy personnel in international educational and scientific projects.
d) To collect, process, and ensure the accessibility of information regarding international educational and scientific programs.
e) To support international cooperation protocol activities within its competence.
f) To implement and oversee the drafting of international treaties and other agreements within its jurisdiction.
g) To prepare reports concerning obligations under international agreements.
h) To perform additional functions within its scope of competence, as defined by legislation, these regulations, and specific administrative-legal acts issued by the Rector.
i) To carry out other tasks assigned by the Rector of the Academy and the Deputy Rector-Chief of Staff.
