In the framework of the Action Plan collaborated between the National Defence Academy and NATO Defense Education Enhancement Programme (DEEP), three day workshop on “Asymmetric Warfare” is held for the NDA military instructors at the Professional Development Centre of NDA.

Two day situational field exercise of the Maneuver Captain Career Course was held at Vaziani firing ground. Situational field exercise consisted of two phases. During the first phase Maneuver Captain Career Course listeners had to process the operation order.

Today, the Chief of Staff Swedish Army, Major General Anders Brännström visited NDA. The Commandant of NDA, Colonel Nikoloz Agladze hosted the Swedish General. During the meeting the Georgian side introduced to the Major General Brännström the history and structure of NDA, as well as the existing educational programmes and the activities carried out in terms of international relations.

In the framework of the official visit in Georgia, today, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Lithuania, Mr. Juozas Olekas visited NDA. The Rector of NDA, Mr. Zurab Agladze hosted the Lithuanian Guest.

The Professional Development Center of National Defence Academy will be hosting two day workshop on “History of Military Art”. During the workshop the importance of history and the best practice of teaching the history will be discussed.
