This year, Assistant Professor Nino Gabinashvili of the Defense and Security Bachelor's Program at the National Defence Academy, along with third-year Junkers Salome Narimanidze, Nata Okropiridze-Gorgiashvili, and Parmen Garsidze, participated in the 24th Law of Armed Conflict Competition in Sanremo, Italy. The event was organized by the International Institute of Humanitarian Law.

An event dedicated to Defence Forces Day was held at the parade ground of the National Defence Academy. During the ceremony, the Comander  of the Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, addressed the personnel and congratulated them on the anniversary: “Officers, sergeants, corporals, privates, Junkers, trainees, ladies and gentlemen, I congratulate you on the 35th anniversary of the Georgian Defence Forces! This is a day of great pride for each of us and for all of Georgia.

From May 5 to June 18, 2026, the LEPL David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia will be accepting applications for the Junior Officer Training School Candidate Course.

The graduation ceremony of the inaugural class of the Junior Officers Training Program (for conscripts of the 11-month National Military Service) was held at the LEPL David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia.

The National Defence Academy hosted the Ministry of Defence-wide intellectual game "What? Where? When?".
