Today, the ceremony of awarding the personnel of the Academy was held at the National Defense Academy parade ground.  Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, the Rector of the Academy, presented the "David Aghmashenebeli" and "Junker" statuettes to the personnel in recognition of their exceptional contributions to the institution's development, their diligent and high-quality execution of their responsibilities, and their significant efforts in organizing educational facilities.

The students of Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University presented the play "History Lesson" at the National Defence Academy Organized and supported by the Public Relations Service of the Patriarchate of Georgia.

Today, the National Defence Academy paid tribute to the memory of the heroes who lost their lives in the Abkhazia war. 

The voluntary military training program for reserve junior officers has commenced at the LEPL David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia for the first time. Following a competitive selection process, students in their 3rd and 4th year from various higher educational institutions nationwide, who are under 30 years old and hold a bachelor's degree, have been enrolled in the program.

An awarding ceremony was recently held at the LEPL David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia to honor the successful Junkers from the spring semester of the Bachelor’s program and their parents. Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, the Rector of the National Defence Academy, personally welcomed the parents of the Junkers to the event.
