Enhance collaboration with the educational sectors

To promote the LEPL David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia and enhance collaboration with the educational sector, Shorena Paichadze, Assistant to the Commandant of the Academy, held meetings with the Head of the Gori Educational Resource Center, Mr. Giorgi Berdznishvili; the Head of the Kaspi Educational Resource Center, Ms. Natia Iluridze; the Head of the Khashuri Educational Resource Center, Mr. Zviad Goguadze; and the Head of the Kareli Educational Resource Center, Ms. Mariam Sazandrishvili.

National Defence Academy of Georgia is 107 years old

David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia is 107 years old. To celebrate Academy Day, a graduation ceremony for the 12th undergraduate class and the 21st candidate course was held on the parade ground. The Minister of Defence of Georgia, Irakli Chikovani, the Chief of Defence Forces, Lieutenant General Giorgi Matiashvili, and the commander of the Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, congratulated the personnel, Junkers, and course participants on their successful graduation. In their speeches, they emphasized the importance of the National Defence Academy and the role of young officers in strengthening Georgia's defence capabilities.

The Commander of the David Agmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, together with the command staff, personnel, and Junkers, paid tribute to the memory of the Georgian servicemen who heroically fell near the village of Shindisi on August 11, 2008.
