LEPL - David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia and Norwegian Defence University College (NDUC) held the third international distance learning conference in a hybrid format on October 16-17, 2024, at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in Tbilisi.

The Rector of Rakovski National Defence College, Major General Staiko Prokopiev, and Deputy Rector, Colonel Dimitar Tashkov, visited the National Defence Academy for a working meeting. They were received by the Rector of the Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze. During the meeting, they engaged in discussions about strengthening their current bilateral cooperation and exploring opportunities for future collaboration.

On October 16-17, sports events took place at the National Defence Academy as part of "Sports Week."

Today, Brigadier General Ole Anders Oye, the Chief of Staff of the Norwegian Defence University College, made his first visit to the National Defence Academy accompanied by a delegation. The Rector of the Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, welcomed the guests. The meeting included informative presentations about the Academy and the Norwegian Defense University College.

Today, the ceremony of awarding the personnel of the Academy was held at the National Defense Academy parade ground.  Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, the Rector of the Academy, presented the "David Aghmashenebeli" and "Junker" statuettes to the personnel in recognition of their exceptional contributions to the institution's development, their diligent and high-quality execution of their responsibilities, and their significant efforts in organizing educational facilities.
