An internal football tournament took place at the National Defense Academy. Eight teams, including the Junkers, trainees, sergeants, officers, and civilian staff, participated in the event. The Rector of the Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, and the heads of structural units were present at the final match.

The fourth-year Junkers of the National Defence Academy alongside cadets from other military schools participated in a cadet field training at the West Point Military Academy in the United States of America.

The National Defence Academy hosted an intellectual game called "What? Where? When?" 36 teams from across the Ministry of Defence took part in the game.

The LEPL David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia is currently working towards obtaining NATO institutional accreditation.

A ceremonial event celebrating Sergeant Corps Day was held at the National Defence Academy. Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, the Rector of the Academy, extended his congratulations to the sergeants of the Academy on their professional day.
