The Junkers who graduated from the Basic Combat Training course of the Training Battalion of the David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia traditionally take the military oath on the historic field of Didgori. This tradition was established by the Rector and senior officials of the Academy. The military oath-taking ceremony is symbolically linked to the historic victory of King David IV, known as David the Builder, after whom the National Defence Academy is named.

The National Defence Academy hosted a trilateral cadet sports event, in which the Junkers and cadets from the National Defence Academy, the Azerbaijani and Turkish military academies participated.

The Rector of the National Defence Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, hosted Major General Arif Hasan Hasanov, the Deputy Rector of the National Defence University of Azerbaijan, and Erhan Afyoncu, the Rector of the National Defence University of Turkey. This meeting took place within the trilateral framework of the rectors of military educational institutions from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia.

LEPL - David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia held an award ceremony to honor the outstanding bachelor's degree Junkers and their families.

An international student conference will take place in a hybrid format at the National Defence Academy on November 13-14, 2025. Students from Georgian and international higher education institutions are invited to participate in the conference.
