From September 3-6, this year, the trilateral meetings of rectors from military educational institutions in Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey were held in Istanbul, hosted by the National Defense University of Turkey. The delegation of the National Defence Academy was headed by Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, the Rector of the Academy. The delegation also included Deputy Rector Colonel Zurab Zerekidze and the Head of G-5 Service of the Staff, Vice Colonel Kakhaber Kavlashvili.

The David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia celebrated its 105th anniversary with a ceremony honoring the 10th graduating class of bachelor's programs and the 19th graduating class of the Candidate Courses at the parade ground.
