U.S. General visits NDA

Major General Frank D. Turner, Commanding General of the United States Army Security Assistance Command has visited National Defence Academy today. Major General Frank Turner, together with delegation members, met Academy Rector Zurab Agladze and Commandant LTC Nikoloz Agladze. The Georgian side delivered presentation on the Institution structure and curriculum. Academy Rector informed the guests about the tuition process and Bachelors programs. The reforms implemented in the National Defence Academy and future plans were also discussed at the meeting.

Within the visit the American guests met the wounded servicemen who are studying in the Academy. They talked on the rehabilitation of injured military, on the arrangement of appropriate infrastructure for them and a full integration in the armed forces.

Following the meeting, the American military visited six Georgian attendees, who had undergone training courses in the United States Military Academy West Point under an exchange program.

Today, the guests have viewed the Academy infrastructure: training and living facilities, canteen and sport complex.
