Visit of the Chief of Defence Forces of Georgia at the Academy
Today, the Chief of the Defence Forces of Georgia, Lt General Vladimer Chachibaia visited the National Defence Academy. The Junkers of the fourth course of the training battalion and heads of the structural units of the NDA attended the event. The Chief of the Defence Forces talked about the ongoing reforms of the defence system, namely about the changes carried out in the Defence Forces. He focused on such priority directions as: upgrading combat readiness of the Defence Forces, structural transformation, improvement of management systems and implementation of the essential institutional reforms. The Chief of the Defence Forces introduced the future plans to the audience that is aimed at raising awareness of the Defense Forces of Georgia and deepening of the patriotic spirit in adolescents.
Meeting continued in a question-answer format where the Chief of the Defence Forces shared his own experience to the future officers and wished them career advancement and success.
