Today, the Fifth International Week of Cadets was opened at the National Defence Academy. 15 partner educational institutions of 13 countries participate in the event this year, total number of participant cadets is 55. It’s noteworthy that the event has already been held at the NDA for the five years and this is the record number of the participants.
The event was opened by the Acting Rector of the National Defence Academy, Colonel Mamia Balakhadze, and the Deputy Chief of the Defence Forces of Georgia, Brigadier General Shalva Jabakhidze attended the event as an honored guest. The week ends on April 5, participants will be actively involved in both military and cultural projects. Various cognitive lectures will also be delivered within the week.
The aim of the international week is to strengthen cooperation with leading higher education institutions abroad, as well as introduce the National Defense Academy and Georgia to the guests.
