National Defence Academy has a New Rector
Today, Deputy Chief of Georgian Defence Forces, Major General Shalva Jabakhidze introduced the new Rector, Brigadier General Malkhaz Makaradze to the NDA staff.
Major General talked about Brigadier General Makaradze's professional experience, education and personal qualities and wished him success in this responsible position. Brigadier General Makaradze has a vast experience in military education field. Throughout his career he held various leading positions at the General Staff of Georgian Defence Forces, he has also participated in peacekeeping operations in Iraq and Kosovo. Brigadier General Makaradze was appointed as a Rector at the National Defence Academy after finishing his studies at the National Defense University of the United States.
