Summer School My World at the NDA
Summer school ’’My World’’ ended at the NDA. 30 high school students from different regions of Georgia - both from high-mountainous Guria and Adjara villages, as well as from public schools of Shida Kartli and Abkhazia were participated in the project.
The project was quite interesting and loaded for the participants as they were involved in various sports, cultural, educational events and cognitive competitions.
Students, along with the invited speakers discussed Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic choice, international education programs, NATO-Georgia relations and other crucial issues.
Within the framework of the project the participants visited the memorial of 17 soldiers who died in the village of Shindisi in 2008 and paid tribute to their memory with minute's silence.
At the end of the summer school students were awarded relevant certificates.Rector of the National Defence Academy, Brigadier General Malkhaz Makaradze and Eka Metreveli, President of the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies, addressed the participants and wished them success.
