A training about gender issues for the Academy students

Today, at Davit Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia there was training about “Gender Equality and United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325”.

The representatives from the NGO “Women`s Information Center” delivered information to the academy students about gender equality and stereotypes, also about United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 and their course of action. They also talked about MoD roles and responsibilities in the process of plan’s development and fulfillment.

It was a first training at the Academy conducted about gender issues. And it was supported by Mod and Women`s Information Center.
