Visit of USMA Cadets
During March 4-12, 2023, the National Defence Academy hosted the cadets of the US Military Academy "West Point", Malachi Wright and Aleksandre Jolia, within the framework of the "Foreign Academy Exchange Program".
The Rector of the Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze met the cadets. The mentioned visit also included meetings with other members of the leadership of the Academy and Junkers of the training battalion. During the introductory meetings, the parties introduced the history of higher military schools to each other and talked about undergraduate programs, admission criteria, and military education. Apart from the workshops, the guests were involved in various cultural events and daily activities.
As part of the cultural-cognitive tour, the guests visited the remarkable places of Mtskheta and the historical-ethnographic museum of Gori.
