The graduates of the Basic Combat Training (BCT) course of the Junior Officer Training School of the National Defense Academy took the military oath.
The swearing-in ceremony was held on the territory of Gori Fortress. After the national anthem, the recruits honored the memory of the military personnel who died in the line of duty with a moment of silence. LTC Lasha Klimiashvili, Head of the Junior Officer Training School, congratulated the graduates on the important day of taking the oath.
Recruits of compulsory military service have successfully passed the eight-week course of the Basic Combat Training. The course included theoretical and practical training.
During the training, the graduates studied combined arms regulations, military topography, fire training, formation, first aid, and other military disciplines.
