Junkers’ Visit to the Batumi State Maritime Academy
On May 29-30 of this year, the Junkers of the Mechanical Engineering Program of the Baccalaureate visited the Batumi State Maritime Academy and the Brothers Nobel Batumi Technological Museum in order to familiarize themselves with marine technologies.
At the Maritime Academy, the Junkers got acquainted with the laboratories of the marine engineering and navigation faculties. The Junkers were particularly interested in the ship's engine laboratory, navigation simulation space, and training pool.
The Junkers participated in a simulation exercise, in a lifeboat rescue operation.
After visiting the base of the Academy, the Junkers visited the training ship "Cadet". The Junkers practically got to know the structure of the ship. The Junkers were hosted by the students of the Maritime Academy themselves.
The Junkers also visited the Brothers Nobel Batumi Technological Museum, where they saw and learned about the activities of the Brothers Nobel in Batumi at the beginning of the last century and other technological achievements of the same period in Adjara.
