Practical Field Training

The students of the Junior Officer Training School of the National Defence Academy completed one-week practical field training.

Field training included practical exercises defined by the academic plan in occupying a platoon patrol base, targeted attacks (ambush and raid), and platoon attacks.

The purpose of the field training is for the students of the Candidate Course to practically implement the theoretically studied material; improve their ability to perform tactical elements in practice. Also to refine combat exercises by practical performance at the platoon level.
