Award Ceremony
The award ceremony was held in the recreational space of the LEPL David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia. The Rector, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, presented departmental medals, certificates of honor, and personal gifts to the deserving personnel.
Captain Iveri Buadze, a senior tactical training instructor of the Training Support and Development Centre of the Academy, was awarded the military rank of "major" and a second-class medal for his outstanding service in the Defence Forces. Captain Buadze, who was wounded while serving on a peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan, attended the event with his family.
The ceremony was attended by the leaders of the Academy. The Rector expressed his gratitude to the personnel for their service and wished them success.
