From September 26 to 29, staff members of the Stabilization Centre of the Strategy and War Research Institute of the Royal Danish Defence College visited the David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia for a working visit.
A seminar was held on September 27-28, organized by the Scientific Research Centre of the Academy and the Danish Stabilization Centre. The seminar focused on studying current security issues in light of the war in Ukraine, with the aim of drawing lessons for the future. The workshop was held in a hybrid mode, and attended by researchers from local institutions and various countries, including the USA, Canada, Belgium, Great Britain, and Denmark.
At the seminar, presentations were made on such topical issues as security challenges: information warfare and cyber security, drones and artificial intelligence; regional security dilemmas and Georgia: navigation in a tense neighbourhood; Strategic analysis of war: theoretical course and military practice and others.
Each panel of the seminar was followed by a debate, where the speakers answered questions from the audience about the topics discussed in their presentations. These meetings resulted in a fruitful collaboration between the research centres of Georgia and the Danish Defence Academy.
