Academy of Georgia participated in the scientific and engineering conference held at the US Naval Academy.

In the format of exchange programs with higher military educational institutions abroad, the third-year Junker Aleksandre Margiani and the second-year Junker Demetre Chkhaidze of the training battalion of David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia participated in the scientific and engineering conference held at the US Naval Academy.
The main topic of the conference was "Genetics: Understanding and Approaches to Modern Challenges". More than 200 delegates were invited to the event, including 10 cadets from higher military educational institutions abroad. The attendees had the opportunity to listen to the presentations of experts from various fields. At the same time, invited students and cadets from relevant work groups discussed the relevance of the topic and the technological results achieved in genetic engineering.
The participating parties made presentations, and shared their ideas in the field of science and technology, allowing them to present their educational institution and capabilities. Also, a tour was organized around the Naval Academy, where the guests visited various interesting places and learned about the history of the Academy.
