As part of the internship program, three cadets from Saint-Cyr Military School of France visited the National Defence Academy between January 18 and February 9, 2024.
French cadets attended various military, academic, sports, and cultural activities as part of the internship program.
As part of the cultural events planned during the visit, tours were made to the National Museum of Georgia, the Historical-Ethnographic Museum of Gori, the Uplistsikhe Museum-Reserve, and a presentation about the Battle of Shindisi was held at the Memorial to  Shindisi Heroes in the village of Shindisi.
The professors of Undergraduate and graduate programs of the National Defence Academy gave lectures on various topical issues to the guests.
French cadets participated in a debate with Junkers of the National Defence Academy training battalion.
In turn, the guests gave an introductory presentation about Saint-Cyr Military School to the Junkers of the Academy.
It is important to highlight that when students engage in similar activities, they tend to create a friendly environment that fosters long-term relationships with educational institutions. Such activities also help to develop social and communication skills, which enable participants to gain more knowledge and experience regarding modern challenges in the defense field.
