An award ceremony was held Academy

An award ceremony was held at the LEPL David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia to honor the parents of outstanding Junkers from the autumn semester. The Rector of the National Defence Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, welcomed the parents and acknowledged the crucial role of family support in studies and daily military activities. In his speech, he emphasized that parental encouragement and the right approach can motivate each Junker in the difficult process of learning. As a token of appreciation, the Academy decided to award the parents for raising children with love for their motherland.

It's worth noting that all Junkers in their first, second, and third years at the Academy receive a monthly fixed stipend of 320 GEL. Additionally, excellent Junkers receive an extra stipend based on their ranking.

Additional scholarship award criteria:

A+ 95 – 100 points - 300 GEL

A - 91 – 94 points - 200 GEL

B - 81 – 90 points - 100 GEL

The gross pay for the fourth-year Junkers is 1530 GEL (1200 GEL taken-home). After every academic semester, parents of outstanding Junkers belonging to category A+ are honored with an award, whereas parents of the Junkers belonging to categories A and B receive a letter of appreciation from the Rector at their home addresses.
