The 22nd annual competition on the Law of Armed Conflicts was recently held in Sanremo, Italy. The event was organized by the International Institute of Humanitarian Law and attended by representatives of the National Defence Academy, including Defence and Security Program Professor Levan Gegeshidze, as well as the Junkers Zurab Mamanishvili, Irakli Grigoriadi, and Zurab Mamulashvili.

The main objective of the competition is to familiarize future military leaders with international humanitarian law and to help them develop the ability to work with military professionals in a multinational environment.
