The Rector of the Academy visited the Military Academy and the Joint Staff College of Spain

The Rector of the Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze visited the Military Academy and the Joint Staff College of Spain.

The representatives of the National Defence Academy were hosted by the commandant of the Spanish Military Academy, General Manuel Perez Lopez. In the framework of the visit, introductory and working meetings were held, where the parties presented their educational institutions and discussed plans for future cooperation. The sessions focused on such issues as academic programs, teaching planning, implementation and evaluation methods, international events, exchange programs for the personnel of the Academy, cooperation within the Erasmus+ program, etc.

During the visit, meetings were also held at the Higher Education Center of the Spanish National Defence, where the Academy delegation was hosted by Brigadier General Juan Ramon Sabate Aragones, Commander of the Command and Staff College. The representatives of the academy got acquainted with the main goals and objectives of the college, educational programs, and the system of organising the educational process.

At the meeting, the parties also discussed future cooperation, international modules, joint studies, and opportunities to involve representatives of partners and educational institutions in various academic courses, contributing to their professional development.

Such activities foster business and friendly relationships among higher military schools, laying the groundwork for strengthening future cooperation and the development of international relations.
