Leadership Conference at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, USA

Two second-year Junkers from the Training Battalion of the LEPL - David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia, Davit Davituri and Giorgi Shatirishvili, participated in the “Leadership Conference” held at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, USA.

The conference focused on three main topics: “The Role of Humility in the Development of a Junior Officer,” “Why, In and Out of Uniform,” and “Leadership with Greater Responsibility: Continuity of Learning.” Senior military officials and representatives from the civilian sector were invited to discuss these subjects. Cadets from various military academies, representatives from international military schools, and university students also participated in the event. Following the discussions, the cadets and students were organized into working groups to deliberate on how to apply and implement the information they received in practice.

Such activities foster a friendly environment among participants, helping to build long-lasting relationships between students and educational institutions. They also enhance social and communication skills, providing participants with valuable insights into modern challenges and experience in related fields.
