The National Defence Academy of Georgia hosted a meeting for the Partnership for Peace Consortium’s Distance Learning Working Group. The focus of the meeting was on “The Role of Distance Learning and Artificial Intelligence in Improving Military Readiness and Training.” Representatives from ten different countries attended the meeting alongside members from the National Defence Academy.
The event began with a welcoming address from Colonel Zurab Zerekidze, the Deputy Rector of the National Defence Academy. The purpose of the meeting was to share knowledge about digital education among NATO allies and partners, explore new trends, and develop collaborative strategies.
Key topics discussed during the workshop included sharing digital learning materials among allied countries, developing new strategies and practical approaches, the role of distance learning in enhancing information and psychological security, and the capabilities of artificial intelligence in military training. Participants deliberated on how distance learning and artificial intelligence can improve military training and how new technologies can be effectively integrated into the defense sector.
