An internal football tournament was held at the National Defence Academy, featuring eight teams comprised of the Junkers, trainees, and sergeants/officers. The final match was attended by Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, the Rector of the Academy, along with the heads of various structural units. In the championship game, the teams representing the fourth and second-year Junkers of the Junker Training Battalion faced off, with the second-year team emerging victorious.
The Rector awarded the winning team with a trophy, while the second-place team received a certificate of honor. Additionally, the tournament recognized its "Best Footballer," the second-year Junker Mikheil Samadashvili.
