The trilateral framework of the rectors of military educational institutions from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia

The Rector of the National Defence Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, hosted Major General Arif Hasan Hasanov, the Deputy Rector of the National Defence University of Azerbaijan, and Erhan Afyoncu, the Rector of the National Defence University of Turkey. This meeting took place within the trilateral framework of the rectors of military educational institutions from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia.

During the meeting, Brigadier General Balakhadze discussed the innovations being implemented at the National Defence Academy, as well as future plans. Each military educational institution presented its current military and academic programs, exercises, and international activities. The discussions also focused on the existing issues and potential areas for future cooperation among the institutions.

Following the meeting, the guests toured the infrastructure, training laboratories, and museum of the National Defence Academy, during which they exchanged meaningful gifts.

Later, the officials attended trilateral cadet sports events, which included participants from the National Defence Academy and the military academies of Azerbaijan and Turkey.

It is noteworthy that this trilateral meeting strengthens Georgia's partnership with its two neighboring countries in the field of military education. Holding collaborative meetings like this is crucial for the Academy in terms of sharing and benefiting from foreign experiences.
