Paralympic Champion at NDA

Paralympic Champion Candace Cable visited NDA. Candace Cable is one of today’s most successful world athletes. From 1984 to 1990 she has been ranked number one nationally in wheelchair racing competition.

In the framework of the visit, Candace delivered the lecture to the NDA Junkers and the wounded military servicemen. The main topic of the lecture was the disabled people and sports. Candace cable as the winner of nine Paralympic Gold medals and two Olympic medals shared her experience with the listeners.

After the lecture, Junkers participated in the wheelchair competition and in overcoming the barriers.

Deputy Defence Minister of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia, Mrs. Tamar Karosanidze and the cultural Attaché of the U.S. Embassy, Mr. James Douie attended the meeting.
