Junior Officer School Military Police Training Course

NDA Acting Commandant Lieutenant-Colonel Vasil Kopeikini visited Algeti Training Base and familiarized with the development of the Military Training Course.

Above mentioned course started on 17th of March, 2014 and will end on 18th of July.

Junior Officer School Military Police Training Course, which gives the military personnel career development opportunity, is supported by the cooperation between National Defence Academy and the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The purpose of the Course is to train the military police personnel, who will hold the necessary skills and will be able to work in groups as well as individually.

In the framework of 18 weeks courses 29 military policemen will undergo two stages of theoretical and practical studies. During the first stage, NDA instructors will deliver lectures on the military education at the Algeti Training Base. During the second stage, they will be given an opportunity to learn the police educational programmes and law at the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Throughout the course the listeners will master the basic principles of the Infantry fire team and the squad level tactics. They will also learn the Human Rights and Police Code of Ethics, the regulatory areas of the Administrative Code, the general principles and the importance of the Criminal Code and the operative search process according to the Criminal Code.
