Today, at the National Defence Academy started entry exams for the Officer Training Candidate Course. 148 civilians and 102 military servicemen participated in the examination.
Based on the entry exams’ results about 150 listeners will attend the Officer Training Candidate Course. Georgian citizens who hold the Bachelor Degree and have not reached 27 years. Georgian citizens, whose age doesn’t exceed 30 years, hold the Bachelor Degree and are in reserve. Privates, Corporals and Sergeants who hold the Bachelor Degree and serve in the military are accepted at the Officer Training Candidate Course.
Graduates will be given Officer’s first rank “Lieutenant” and will be able to specialize in the following areas: Land Forces, Military Medicine, Military Police, Aviation and Air Defence.
