The Graduation of the Summer Mountain Training Course at NDA
Today 80 Listeners of the Infantry Officer Training Course of the NDA Junior Officer School were given certificates and badges for successfully finishing the three week Summer Mountain Training Course.
The Summer Mountain Training Course was held at the Sachkhere Mountain Training School from 25th of April, 2014 to 11th of May.
Above mentioned course contains both theoretical and practical training. Infantry Officer Training Course Listeners were given practical training in moving on the mountain relief, cliff climbing techniques, crossing the river, transferring the wounded through the river, overcoming the barriers on the cliff relief, descending from the cliff and mountain March.
The Chief of Staff of the Training and Military Education Command, Colonel Roin Failodze, NDA Rector, Mr. Zurab Agladze, NDA Acting Commandant, Lieutenant-Colonel Vasil Kopeikini, the Deputy Head of the Sachkhere Mountain Training School, Major Merab Kapanadze and the school instructors handed over the certificates and badges to the Infantry Officer Training Course Listeners.
NDA Chaplain, Father Tadeoz gifted the icon of Saint George to the Sachkhere Mountain Training School in the name of the Infantry Officer Training Course.
