Tribute Paid to the Memory of Heroes Killed in Shindisi
Today, the leadership and listeners of the NDA Junior Officer School visited the memorial of the 17 Georgian military servicemen who died in village Shindisi during the Russian-Georgian war in August 2008. The representatives of the Junior Officer School observed the minute of silence to honor the memory of the fallen heroes.
Fallen military servicemen were the members of the 2nd Infantry Brigade located in Senaki. They were killed while repelling a massive enemy attack.
