Seminar for Gender Advisers
Today was the conclusion of two day seminar for ever gender adviser at the Defence sector. The seminar was conducted in the framework of the collaboration between the Ministry of Defence of Georgia and the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF).
Deputy Defence Minister, Ms. Tamar Karosanidze attended the above mentioned seminar.
The international experts of the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF), Ms. Megan Bastick and Mr. Daniel de Torres discussed how to identify and plan gender advisers’ activities.
The participants also had an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the preliminary results of the Gender Audit at the Ministry of Defence.
