NDA Junkers at the National Center of Manuscripts
National Center of Manuscripts is hosting the project “Junker Ivane Nanuashvili – Unknown Pages of Modern History of Georgia”. Today, the Junkers of Davit Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy attended the exhibition of the archived unique photographs and documentary materials of Ivane Nanuashvili as well as his work.
Historian Shorena Murusidze delivered the lecture on the life of Ivane Nanuashvili to the Junkers, during which she highlighted three main aspects of his life – Nanuashvili as a Junker, Major of Polish General Armed Forces and Political Emigrant.
The project organized by the National Center of Manuscripts is dedicated to the Occupation of Georgia in 1921. The purpose of the project is to promote Junkers as young military personnel and show the connections between New and Modern History of Georgia.
