The Lecture of Professor Kevin Jon Heller in the Framework of Speakers Program
In the framework of the "Speakers Program", today the Professor of Criminal Law, University of London, Professor Kevin Jon Heller visited the National Defence Academy.
Professor Heller delivered the lecture to the Captain Career School Listeners on “The ICC’s Formal Investigation into the Situation in Georgia: Legal and Evidentiary Issues”. He discussed the crimes committed during the 2008 Russia Georgia War.
Later on, Professor Heller also delivered another lecture to the Junkers on “Whether Disguising Military Objects to Look like Civilian Objects is Perfidious”, during which he discussed the laws of war and highlighted the acceptable an unacceptable action during the warfare.
During his visit in Georgia Professor Kevin Jon Heller will also deliver the lectures at the Giorgi Antsukhelidze NCO Training Center and other Universities.
