The Project Psychology at the Law Enforcement Agencies

Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University hosted the project "Psychology at the Law Enforcement Agencies" organized by the Georgian Young Psychologists Association (GΨPA).

In the framework of the project the Head of NDA Psychological Service Section Mrs. Tinatin Kropadze met with students and introduced to them the function and responsibilities of the NDA psychologists and addressed the challenges psychologists face in the field. She also reviewed the individual cases and answered to students’ questions.

The above mentioned project was held in the framework of the MoU signed between the National Defence Academy of Georgia, the Ministry of Defence of Georgia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the Non-custodial Punishments and National Probation Agency, the Training Centre of Corrections and Probation, the Training Centre of Justice of Georgian and the Special State protection Service of Georgia. The students participating in the project will learn about the working structure of the Psychologists who work in the law enforcement agencies and the perspective for their employment.
