Kazbegi Marathon 2016
On 4th of September, for seventh time “Kazbegi Marathon” was held in Stephantsminda. The staff of the National Defence Academy was involved in the mentioned charity action.
International and non-governmental organizations, state higher education institutions, diplomatic corps accredited to Georgia and the representatives of the governmental sector, as well as, professional and amateur sportsmen from more than 34 countries took a part in the raice.
"Childhood Leukemia is Treatable” was a Motto of the “Kazbegi Marathon 2016”. Money raised from the action was transferred to the guest-house "Parents House" located on the territory of Murman Iashvili Children’s Hospital. A given facility addresses a need of the patients, going through a long-term treatment and their family members coming from the different parts of Georgia.
