National Defence Academy has a New Commandant

By the order of the Minister of Defence of Georgia, LTC Zezva Liparteliani was appointed as Commandant of the National Defence Academy.

The Rector of NDA, LTC Zaza Japaridze introduced to the DNA employees new Commandant and wished him success in his future endeavours.   

Prior to his position at the National Defence Academy, LTC Zezva Liparteliani has worked as a Defence Attaché to UK and as a Head of the Preparatory Course of the Command and Staff College. He was also appointed as a Senior National Representative of Georgia in US CENTCOMM. He has an experience of working on various command and staff positions. LTC Liparteliani took part in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

LTC Liparteliani has obtained his military education at the US Command and General Staff College. In 2003-2004 he underwent Officer’s basic course at USMC Officer Basic Training School.
